Using the Insert Pic Icon

Inserting Pictures Using Insert Pic Icon: Part 1:

Step 1: Open Reply Window or Page Editor.



Step 2: Choosing from the 3 tabs within MSN My Photos: My Online photos (tab) -

1. First you must have images stored within any msn groups album, or belong to an msn group to utilize this feature.
2. Choose the msn group where images are stored from the left pane (example below)



3. Scroll through the album list with your stored images, or
4. choose an album from the group's album you've selected. (example below)



1. Click open an album, the contents of the album will appear in the right pane.
2. Click an appropriate image or images (you may select more than one at a time)
3. Click 'Add Photos', depending on how many you've selected, there is a wait for the images to appear in your message box.



1. You have the option to resize any image once it uploads into your message area.  Click on the image, notice the resize indicator shows, place cursor on a corner image resize indicator, and draw your cursor diagonal to shrink the image.
2. When finished typing text, and adding images to your message, click send.



Inserting Images Using My Computer Tab: Part 2:

1. If you choose to upload photos directly from a folder where you have images stored and located on your computer, Click 'My Computer' tab.
2. Click 'Browse'. This will bring up your files on your computer.



1. Locate where you've stored your files with images. Example shown here is 'My Documents'.
2. Open your file where your photo or graphic is stored, and locate the item.  Click on the item, then click open - below.
3. Once again, you have the option to resize an image. When done with text and images, click send.



Inserting Images Using Clipart Gallery: Part 3:

1. Click 'Clipart Gallery' tab. A list of all available clipart albums shows in the left pane.
2. Click open any clipart album, and the images from the album will show in the right pane.
3. Click on any image, or images (you may select more than one).
4. Click 'Add Photos'. There will be a wait for the images to upload into your message.

When done with text and images, click send.



*Note: Any image that is in the format of bitmap take longer to upload. Each message box may contain images not exceeding 1 mb.
